June-July 2011: Water Technologies and Agriculture Events in China
The Chinese government has given great attention to the water and agriculture sectors in its 12th Five Year Plan. It is expected that the government will allocate large budgets to projects in these sectors and will show willingness to invest in advanced technologies of foreign companies offering efficient and quality solutions in the water and agriculture areas.
As part of the efforts of the Embassy of Israel in Beijing to introduce these new opportunities to Israeli companies, we intend to organize, during the months of June and July 2011, a series of events in five provinces in China:
Shandong – June 16th
Heilongjiang – June 30th
Beijing and Tianjin – A large seminar in Beijing on July 11 and an additional event in Tianjin on July 13.
Xinjiang – July 27th
These events will be co-organized with the local governments, CCPIT and private companies in the provinces. The events in Shandong, Heilongjiang and Xinjiang will focus on both water technologies and agriculture, while the events in Beijing and Tianjin will specialize in water technologies only. During these events we will provide brief overview of the Israeli water and agricultural sectors, each company will give a short presentation and individual one-on-one meetings will be pre-arranged based on the Israeli companies’ specific requests. The events in Beijing and Tianjin will also include presentations from Israeli experts which will be invited specifically for these events.
This series of events is arranged in cooperation with the Agriculture Section and other departments at the Embassy, as well as with the Water Companies Forum at the Israel Chamber of Commerce in Beijing.
