Jun 22-26: Director General of MOITAL Gavriel Maimon Visited China

Mr. Maimon, the Director General of the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor visited China (Beijing & Shenzhen) in Jun 22-26. This high-level visit is follow-up visit after the January visit to China by H.E.Mr. Eliahu Yishay, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry, Trade & Labor.

During his visit in Beijing, Mr. Maimon held official meeting with Mr. Fu Ziying, Vice Minister of Commerce of P.R.China, and both parties further discussed issues of mutual concern and reinstate the goodwill of promote bilateral economic & trade relationship to a new high. Mr. Maimon also held meetings with senior officials of the Ministry of Water Resources, and the Ministry of Science & Technology, and explored ideas and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the relevant fields.

While in Shenzhen, Mr. Maimon held meeting with municipal leader and visited Shenzhen Hi-Tech Park, where the Liaison Office Israel’s Trade Representative is located and industrial facilities in the city, so as to strengthen exchange and cooperation between Israel and Shenzhen.
