High-level Business Delegation from China Visited Israel

A high-level business delegation of leading players in the Chinese industry, visited Israel last week, and held a business seminar for leading Israeli companies. The delegation, invited by the Ministry of Trade in Israel, held a number of meetings and visits to main sectors of the industry in Israel. Boaz Hirsch, Head of the Foreign Trade Administration, said this is the largest, most high leveled business delegation that has ever visited Israel from China. The delegation included 11 presidents and CEO’s from China’s largest and leading companies. The delegation schedule and framework was organized by the Israeli Export Institute. The delegation, exceptional in size and participants, emphasized its main goal - to present itself to the Israeli industry, and at the same time examine Israeli technologies in sectors such as IT, Telecom, Agro-technology, through a business seminar held to an audience of 100 participants. During the delegation, four contracts were signed between Israeli and Chinese companies, amounting to tens of millions of dollars.

 

The delegation visited Israel as part of an official visit of Liu Qi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Mayor of Beijing, in Israel. The companies that participated in the delegation are:
