A delegation of over a dozen of leading Israeli water technology companies visited China in June. Organized by the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute (IEICI), the Israeli Trade Mission to China and the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai, the Israeli delegation participated Aquatech China 2010 which were held in Shanghai 2-4 June at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. The Israeli exhibitors displayed the advanced water technologies in fields of water treatment, waste water treatment and re-use, water safety, water management, water-saving, desalination and etc. Apart from exhibition at the Israeli national pavilion, the Israeli companies presented at the seminar and had pre-arranged one-on-one meetings with potential Chinese partners.
Prior to the exhibition in Shanghai, the delegation visited Chengdu on 31 May – 1 June, where they had meetings, trade talks and visits with local water authorities and companies. The activities in Chengdu were organized jointly by the Israeli trade offices in China, IEICI and local government agencies.
