Trade Policy / Trade Director

Location: Israel Embassy, Chaoyang District, Beijing
Short Job Description:
The Economic & Trade and Investment Missions promotes bilateral trade, investments and technology cooperation between Israel and China, assisting Israeli companies do business in the Chinese market, conduct monitoring and analysis of Chinese regulation and trade policy in various areas and how it impacts Israeli companies, drafting position papers and conducting background research as required.
In order to do so, the Trade & Trade Policy Directors continuously gain expertise in various industrial and technological sectors, gaining knowledge of the Israeli business scopes and the Chinese market's needs, identifying and developing the appropriate channels and contacts, facilitating business opportunities for both sides.
Requirements:
· Chinese citizenship
· Minimum 2 years commitment.
· Academic degree.
· Fluent English and Mandarin (Oral and Written).
· Good communication, Interpersonal skills and a positive approach.
· Pro-activeness, ability to work independently and part of a team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power Point.
· Be prepared to make business trips.
· Work experience and understanding of: trade, investments, business development, project management, marketing, social media and/or entrepreneurship – clear advantage.
· MBA, MA in Economics or MA in Marketing – advantage.
· Experience in working in an English-Speaking environment – advantage.
